Treo now wishes to recruit a full-time Outreach/Link Worker for its
operations in Waterford City.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be part of
an experienced and dedicated multi-disciplinary team. The
Outreach/Link Worker will have a varied and dynamic workload.
The Outreach Worker will be expected to become proficient and develop
expertise over time in a range of proven approaches i.e. Restorative
Practice, Restorative Justice, Motivational Interviewing, Solution
Focused Approaches, and trauma-informed.
This will become a pensionable position after a probationary period.

Supervision and Reflective practice will be provided.
APPLICANTS MUST POSSESS:
* A minimum of a level 7 degree in Social Science/Care or equivalent
with at least 3 years post-qualification experience with a similar
target client group.
* Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System and understanding of why
individuals get into trouble.
* An ability to communicate efficacy and to bring about behavioural
change.
* An understanding of the opportunities for individuals furthest
away from the labour market.
* Programme facilitation experience.
* Experience working with offenders and victims of crime.
* A strong work ethic.
* Proficient with IT and have strong administration skills.
* Previous experience in key working and relationship building with
our target group.
* An ability to network and link with a wide range of stakeholders.
* The successful candidate will also need access to a car to perform
their duties.
